The Cost of Poverty Experience (COPE) is a guided, immersive simulation designed to help you understand the real-life pressures faced by families navigating poverty—many of whom are the very youth and families we serve.

COPE is a 2.5-hour, interactive poverty simulation that challenges participants to navigate a month in the life of a family living with limited resources.

Participants consistently leave with:

  • Greater empathy for the decisions made under the strain of poverty

  • A clearer picture of why relationships and stability matter so much
